Belton Banks was raised in Shafter. CA. He had a 32 year career in Elementary and Secondary Education as a teacher, where he taught math and history, and as an administrator. Belton has spent years as a coach in the sports of football, basketball, golf and diving. As a long time resident of Shafter he has enjoyed many years of public service and Belton and his wife Brenda have retired in the Shafter community.
